Streamlined Case Entry for Faster, More Efficient Workflows

At SurgicalPerformance, we are continuously working to make the platform simpler, faster, and better aligned with the realities of clinical and surgical workflows.

Following valuable feedback from our users, we understand that time spent entering cases can take away from what matters most — patient care.

What’s Changing

To help improve workflow efficiency, we have significantly reduced the number of mandatory fields required to save a case.

You can now save a case with only the essential information needed.

Required fields are now limited to:

  • Patient Identifier

  • Date of Birth

  • Surgical Procedure

  • Location

  • Date of Procedure

All other fields are now optional and can be completed at your convenience.

Why We Made This Change

This update has been implemented directly in response to user feedback and is designed to:

  • Reduce time spent on case entry

  • Enable faster case capture

  • Improve overall workflow efficiency

  • Support real-world surgical environments

By lowering the barrier to saving cases, we aim to make it easier to record procedures quickly and accurately, whether you’re in theatre, between cases, or documenting retrospectively.

What This Means for You

You can now:

  • Save cases faster

  • Capture essential details immediately

  • Return later to add further information if needed

  • Spend less time on admin and more time focusing on patients and improving outcomes

This is part of our ongoing commitment to building SurgicalPerformance alongside our users and ensuring the platform works the way you do.

We Value Your Feedback
